The Midwest Building Performance Association will work to keep its members informed
of the latest developments and trends in the industry through regular newsletters,
e-mail and correspondence to keep you informed of important building science news
and contractor opportunities.
The Midwest Building Performance Association will provide educational opportunities
to its members with regional customized training and web based seminars. The membership
will be involved in identifying training topics.
The association will promote a positive reputation for its members and the industry through
its code of ethics. Members will be required to provide service that adheres to a level of
professionalism and customer service valued by consumers.
The Midwest Building Performance Association will work with utility, State and Federal
programs that promote building performance and energy efficiency. The MwBPA will work with
program implementers to improve program policy and design, create standards and best practices
for the Building Performance industry. Members will also have a voice with organizations that
provide certification in building performance such as RESNET®.
Members will receive timely information about new legislation and regulatory changes such as
Federal and State tax credits, program changes and incentives to offer customers.
Contact information for all members will be listed in the Midwest Building Performance Association website.
The website will be promoted cooperatively with programs and organizations that serve
common interests, such as Home Performance with ENERGY STAR®.
Association meetings and training provides an opportunity to connect with and learn from industry peers.
